Youtube Experience on BlackBerry Curve 8900
Category: Apps | Feb 27, 2011 |
Sorry for my english, I’m german. In this video I’m trying to point out how good YouTube is working “out-of-the-box” on a BlackBerry Curve 8900 (Javelin). Testing with WiFi connection and with “normal” gprs/edge quality. And no, unfortunately I did not get flash to work no matter which Browser I (yet) tried.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

I have the blackberry curve 9330 on sprint 3g but youtube video playback is always choppy, why is that, do you have this problem with your blackberry
Hey man thanks for this reveiw. However, I want to stress that this phone isn’t really for youtubing on the go. That is where an Iphone jumps in. The iphone may have an advantage in entertainment but that isn’t the reason people get Blackberrys!! I chat and do social networking and browsing on my 8900 but when I want to view videos I whip out my 3rd generation Itouch for that! Blackberrys Rule!
hey.cool!
How much did it coast?
can you tell me what the code look dispocitivo or as thanks
dude which app do i need to be able to use youtube video because when i use it on my curve 8250 i did not really work it says that and error has occure so please tell me which app you use to watch videos on youtube
@Aspergianstar2009 that depends on where you buy it, which Firmware it runs and on which carrier you are running. In Germany for example we can use everything except Apps that require BIS via WiFi without paying for anything (except for the phone of course :p). Phone worked totally fine for me over WiFi without even a SIM card inserted. Could do YouTube, browsing, some mail accounts, several apps, etc
The curve is very dissapointing. I have noticed that it will not allow me to run a lot of applications on wifi and I have to purchase a data carrier. A lot of people dont tell you this. To do anything even wifi roaming you must have a data carrier and then enter your mobile number in as your password. You dont get a setup email icon either unless you have a data carrier. Its a pain.
@shaunymonproductions if youre connected to wifi, the phone will automatically use wifi
i just got the curve 8900 and ive set up my wi-fi connection on it.
does the phone automatically know that you want to use wi-fi then
or do you have to go to a special menu option?
please help
please message back
it was low quality even when it was supposed to be high ……. and it only worked 1/4 of the time
HAHAHAHAH smack ur whole bottom?
@quina08 nope sorry. I’m not using any program, just the plain browser.
mate do you know something so I can see my video better on youtube on my blackberry.. Which program do u have install on your blacknberry curve 8900??
@lionking995 danke ;D
lol dein englisch ist gut
I also can’t get youtube to work in BB media player. Video length will be displayed but no actual video playback. I guess it is a firmware issue. I have the latest btw.
@jaytee501 Some people seem to have problems with Youtube Videos .. but I dont know why .. Works fine for me on GPRS/EDGE or WiFi ..
Does it mean that you can only watch youtube videos on WiFi or GPRS? Because I have Edge, and I can do all the rest on internet with the exception of watching youtube videos. It just says there occured an error, and that’s it. What am I doing wrong? Jt
Its the YouTube Mobile site.
where can i get this app from?
