Video on how to change the trackball color on your blackberry pearl WITHOUT any software. I AM NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BROKEN BLACKBERRYS. This demonstration was shown on a Blackberry Pearl 8130 for the verizon wireless network. I have also done this with my friends blackberry pearl 8110 for at&t
My color isn’t very bright, its a pretty light shade, should i try using a darker blue?

Good Question. The Blackberry Pearl 8110, 8120, and 8130 have no colored LED Lights. So there is not way to change the color of the trackball with any apps or software mods.
Know the Blackberry Pearl 8100 and 8220 (flip) have colored leds and you can use third party apps such as colorpearl to actually change the color without doing this procedure.
Thanks for your interest
good video, but why do you got to take the track ball out? i have the blackberry pearl flip and mine automatically can change colors without having to do all this. On mine you can also choose the colors you want the trackball to light up as.
