Thats great. I got the phone, a few days ago. Its great. Does lag a litte, but I can deal with it.
@JeyGantDTA I’m not going to lie. As much as I LOVE this phone (coming from the Samsung Instinct) it does lag sometimes but, there is a program that helps it not lag so much. & most of the lag is created from having TOO many apps open. Close them & the phone runs very smoothly.
Would you recommend this phone over the hero? In other words, does it lag?????????

You can easily fix the giggling of the battery cover by simply placing a few small pieces of tape on top of each other on the battery itself. It’s a quick, easy, and cheap fix that will not affect the phone in any way. There is actually a youtube video demo for it, just go here… ‘BlackBerry Tour Battery Cover Fix / Workaround’. Thanks. Well, it depends on how you want to download videos. If you’re talking about transferring videos from your computer to the phone, I can tell you how to do that. & if you’re talking about using the phone’s internet to download videos, I really couldn’t tell you. You probably need a certain program. I know Opera Mini could probably help in doing that.

It SORT of has threading. I’ve had a phone with threading before & they put ALL text between you & person under their name. With the BB tour, it doesn’t put all the messages under one name, but, each individual text will show a couple of previous texts under it, it’s weird With the new software update, true threaded SMSing is supposed to be added.
is the text messaging threaded? i saw jasmine say kersin after sumthn that said cousin, and then something after that that said u had vacation or sumthn. around 2:57.
does it show your convo like a chat? or ..like.. idk. did u set it up that way? kuz i didnt see a text box under the messages.
if it is a threaded format, does the text box pop up under the messages, or does a diff window open and show the “contact: message: ” box for u to type ur text?

@HLGCheesey Windows mobile phones can do apps. Blackberry phones can do apps but I have the Moto DROID right now and that is the best phone I have used and has amazing apps. Most of the DROID’s apps can be found on the iPhone. If you were to invest in a Verizon phone. Go with an Android device.
are there any verizon wireless phones that utilize apps please supply a url or names of phones
one last thing when i am at the orb site and click my webcam it turns it on but no video comes thru
under speed it states ask me first.
under stream 3GP format (.sdp) is checked. still cant see my webcam from my bb. like i said i can watch blog tv and thats live streaming. thanks for all your help
Try going to mycast (DOT) orb (DOT) com on your blackberry, go to settings and pick 3gp for the steaming format. That should make it work. I no longer have my blackberry I have the DROID right now so I can’t test it myself but that could work. If not I would hit up Orb’s forums and look/ask around there.
I can watch blogtv and thats live streaming. How would I change my orb settings please help. My Blackberry is thru boost
Hmm I had an 8330 on Verizon and it worked fine. One thing I would check on the orb website is the format you can stream in, you might have a different format selected.
I have the Blackberry 8330 I cant get orb to work on it . I keep getting An Error has occurred attempting to play media. I can watch Youtube on it with no problem. But it wont let me do music thru orb. I can see my pictures. I cant watch my web cam from my blackberry curve

Ok so this googlevoice number works for textin correct? So if I give them my google voice number, they text me, I text them back it’s not gonna give my real number out correct? lol
