BlackBerry Bold 9700 Software Glitch Help Video

i think i describe everything in the vid, but just incase you dont get the gist of it: my black berry is caught in a constant reboot cycle, and the only way to get it out, is to reload the software. i have downloaded and installed the correct operation system for the phone, but when i use try tp use the app loader to reload the device software it tells me i dont have the device software on my computer? really stuck wit this one, and also heard that someone else is having the same problem, any help much appreciated! thanks

I had the same problem. I deleted vendor.xml in the apploader folder (programfilescommonfilesresearch in motionapploader), then I ran loader.exe and was able to install the OS. When I rebooted the phone it froze on the blackberry load bar. I then reconnected it thru the usb, and ran blackberry desktop manager. An error popped up that said something about updating the device. I updated it, and after that was all complete, the phone finally ran. Hope this works for you.

msmars87 if your phone powers on and only your camera doesnt work then your having a different problem than what’s here on the video
@lyncht1 u get it sorted?? my camera won’t work, error message says “close all other applications” its so frustrating!!!

i have a new vodafone blakberry bold 9700 its now 3months old and it not been working for more than a month its now sitting on a plank for showfirst it casht a like a 1000 times then it got a error 523 so i downloded all sorts of sorftware from blackberry spent hours trying to fix it and its swiped all my software off of it i cant cumunicate with blackberrydesktop software and is now saying reload software 513 i think this model is a timebomb thats exploded 2 soon its an a4 with a pretty case

(1)I have a different kind of problem with my new blackberry 9700 that I bought from the middle east. It works fine and all except for one thing, my sms messages. No matter how many sms messages I get from different people, It only shows the name of the first person who sent me the first text (sms) message, then when I go and click on the name so I can view the message, I can see all the messages but with no names. and even if I hit the reply button and send a reply…

I have exactly the same problem! The shop where I bought my bb will give me a new one in about a week or so.
your probable just turning it on while its in your pocket
@0l0Dom0l0 Yeah my blackberry Bold 9700 worked okay with a few glitches for about 35 days and would not load up. RIM needs to held responsible for this problem! It is not fair that they make smartphone with this glitch and will not fix it!
I had the exact same problem with my blackberry bold 9700. Everyone at Bell Mobility Canada thinks i am the only one with this problem! Glad to know I am not alone. I had to return my blackberry to Bell and wait 3 weeks for it to be fixed but turns out they couldn’t fix it and i was given a refurbished blackberry.Everyone with this problem should complain to RIM and get them to send us new blackberry bolds that work properly.They can not get a way with selling 599.99 blackberrys that don’t work
